Capacity delivers its activities through collaboration with experts. The 2017 Business Mentoring Programme enrolls over 30 business, mentoring and coaching experts to deliver mentoring sessions and training workshops. Additionally, participants benefit from discussions with many others from across the business, charitable and entrepreneurship community. We want to build a community of experts who can work together to support refugees and migrants to make their individual potential(s) visible in Switzerland, and we’d love you to be part of that journey.

We are always looking for people with significant mentoring and/or coaching experience to support individuals undertaking entrepreneurship or employment activities. The current cohort of mentors in our Mentoring Programme have ended up mentoring people from around the world and supporting them as they negotiate the legal aspects of setting up a company, helping them to make life-choices such as whether to undertake further education/professional qualifications, and ensuring that important documents such as CVs and cover/application letters for employment, sponsorship, etc., are well-written and likely to succeed. Alongside this the mentors have been supporting the participants with cultural tips and intercultural training on life in Switzerland as entrepreneurs, helping them to build the social knowledge that they need to succeed. Do you want to provide support to a refugee or migrant as they enter the world of business? If so, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with the Capacity team at firstname.lastname@example.org
We have over 20 business experts from the Zurich business environment joining the 2017 programme to deliver workshops or guide co-working sessions on key topics for entrepreneurs, including marketing, goal-setting, networking, business model development, and more. For just a few hours of work, supported by the Capacity team, these workshops provide bilingual practical support and training to ensure that our participants have the tools they need to run a successful business or social project. If this sounds like something you are interested in doing, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with the Capacity team at email@example.com
As our first cohort of participants has graduated from the programme, they will need ongoing business support. We are looking to build a community of experts who we can turn to when former and current participants and others ask us for support with specific things. If you feel that you could offer occasional one-off business/project support to an individual then please get in touch with the Capacity team at firstname.lastname@example.org with an outline of what areas you would be able to offer support with.
